Community View

You've told it to someone who cares! (that's us btw!). Now welcome to the work.shop.play. Community View. This is a random round-up of the latest goings-on from the community. It's a place where we'll share some of the results of the surveys we send you as well as other mumblings and musings from us. We hope you enjoy reading.

We care what you think, but you knew that. Right? But we don't want to keep our community a secret so we've put some new ads on digital screens and buses and stuff! Check them out!

Thank you to everyone who took the time to share your 2020 Highlight photos! We have our winning entries. We think they capture a different aspect of 2020 - a year like no other! You made us feel warm and fuzzy inside with tonnes of positivity - thank you 😃. From taking comfort in the little things, to taking time out to explore what’s on your doorstep. Even managing to not let a pandemic get in the way of (safely) spending time doing the things we love. Congratulations to all our winners and thank you to everyone who took part. You can take a look at more entries here.

Wishing you a safe and happy festive season.

Audrey McClements from Antrim sent us this winning photo with the caption “He asked and I said YES. My daughter made the cake and we had both his daughters and mine out for a birthday dinner at The Chelsea, Belfast. We’ve been together 6 years and this was such an unexpected surprise”

Our second winner was Debbie Smallwoods from Ballyclare who went on a #Staycation in Derry~Londonderry and had a fantastic time, a lot of history, great local food and shopping.

Mairead Fitzpatrick from Kilmainham told us, along with this photo, that she was a cocooner and didn't go out much. “I learned to appreciate the little things, such as this beautiful view from my sitting room window”.

Are you pulling our leg? 2020 has been the year for staying home and now you choose Home Alone as your all-time favourite Christmas movie! 😂 It's okay, we also had Elf and Die Hard up there in the top 3 #MerryChristmas
